We’re Mapes Bros, twin brothers from London. We started Transformers At The Moon in October 1999 and never really stopped. Since then we’ve added sites for Lucky Draw prize figures, the Gold Masterpiece Optimus Prime and Hasbro’s Visionaries, a family YouTube channel and a software company.
Each name takes you to the site itself. The social links underneath go to that project’s own pages.
transformertoys.co.uk
Transformers At The Moon is our European Transformers archive, running since October 1999. It holds toy galleries, more than 11,000 news stories, USPTO trademark records, instruction scans, prototypes and convention history.
luckydrawtransformers.com
The reference site for Lucky Draw figures, the limited prize Transformers given away through Japanese magazine campaigns. You’ll find galleries, campaign scans, an FAQ and a collectors’ forum.
goldoptimusprime.com
A photo record of the Gold Masterpiece Optimus Prime, a 2004 Takara contest prize made in tiny numbers. It covers the packaging, both modes, the gold accessories and comparisons with the standard Masterpiece and the 1984 original.
thevisionaries.net
The online archive for Hasbro’s 1987 Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light. It has guides to the 13-part cartoon, the Marvel, Star and IDW comics, the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords toys, and the people and places of Prysmos.

mapesplays.com
Our family YouTube channel, where toy unboxings sit alongside Wobbly Life and Minecraft. At the moment that means a lot of KPop Demon Hunters figures. If Mapes plays, so can you.
